How does Motley suck? I need reasoning to back this.

I saw Motley on their first 'reunion' tour, the one right after tommy got out of the slammer, and they played a 1000 seat theater here. i don't think it was such a big tour. i belive it was for their greatest hits cd, the one with bitter pill on it.

you are right though, Motley did play an ampitheatre here when Samantha was drumming for them. i think the place holds around 20,000 and the Crue sold a little over 2,000 for it. AND the way it's set up is about %25 of the seats, maybe %40 at most, are actually seats and under a roof of sorts, the rest are what they call lawn seats, standing on a hill type set up. %90 of the tickets sold were 'lawn' seats so motley wouldn't come on unless the security let everyone from the lawn to fill in the front rows. safe to say they were not as big as they thought they were.

Well that was then this is now, this tour is getting alot of publicity and is selling very well.

It's has nothing to do with timing. It has everything to do with the publicity. Half of America would go see a flea circus if it was promoted correctly.

Motley played ampitheatres without the original lineup.

Thing is the timing is right people want to rock again and the Crue has memorable songs a badass reputation so why not go?

Vince sounds very good on this tour, also if you wannasay wellhe doesn't sing every word.....go listen to bootlegs from 1984 he's always done that.

Well not everyone is going to like the same things, I love Motley and to seriously get anything out there you have to promote it......simple logic.

I just hope Motley hatredisn't because of something that happened 20 years ago.

If you miss this show/tour it'll be your loss this is thier best tour since Feelgood.

Its not like Kiss, they don't have a couple of guys dressed up as Nikki and Tommy or something stupid like that... they are all in good from, Vince really turned his shit around.
